Wooden Tiles Pics & Pledge Manager Closes July 10th

Greetings, Gardeners. 

Hope your summer gardens are in full bloom this year. Here's a pic I took in mine this weekend when a butterfly stopped in to visit one of our cone flowers. 

As I mentioned in the last update, we were waiting on the sample of the deluxe wooden tiles to arrive before locking down the pledge manager. After a little bit of a delay in customs and the holiday, they finally made it today. I'm very pleased with how everything turned out. See below for some photos. 

Now that they are here, I need to get the pledge manager closed down so we can start working on shipping logistics. You have until the end of the weekend to get your pledges configured and finalized. That is end of day July 10th. After that we will close it down and charge your cards.

Still Waiting on Deluxe Tiles production proof - Pledge Manager closing pushed out

Greetings, Gardeners. 

The final production wooden deluxe tiles box was supposed to arrive last week and then the plan was to close the pledge manager on June 24th. That sample did not arrive and should be here next week. 

I was going to close the PM anyway so we could get started on the fulfillment logistics prep, but I had a few people reach out asking me to hold. There are some who want to see photos of the final wooden tiles before making a decision on picking up that add-on in the pledge manager. This is totally fair and I want to accommodate that request. 

So, the new plan is to close the pledge manager next Friday July 1st, assuming the tiles arrive before that date. Sorry for pushing out the close, but it is best for you to see all of the final products before locking in your decision. 

The core game and promo sets are all completed at the factory and ready to go, the only thing remaining is the check on the wooden tiles before they assemble those boxes and pallet them.

Pledge Manager Closing June 24

Greetings, Gardeners!

This is just a short update to let you know that we are shifting the pledge manager close from today out one week to June 24th. I thought the final production copy checking for the wooden tiles was going to arrive while I was away at Origins. There were some issues they had to correct and the production for those won't wrap until next week, so I should have that sample late next week or early the following. 

Since that was pushed out, I figured we could just leave it open for one more week as we have had some late pledges trickling in after Origins. Which, by the way, went very well. Everyone who got to see it on the demo table thought the production looked fantastic and we had a lot of positive buzz at the event for the game and upcoming release. 

I'll send a reminder next week on the pledge manager closing. Please get that filled out if you haven't already. If you don't, I can't guarantee we will have copies available in your fulfillment center. This game is very heavy (just the retail but the wooden tile box is too) so we will not be shipping a large amount of extras to those centers over what we need specifically for this fulfillment.

Production Wrapping, Pledge Manager Closing, and Origins

Greetings Gardeners! 

Hope your late spring and early summer blooms are coming up in your gardens. Important update this time with some key dates. 

Manufacturing and Pledge Manager

First off, manufacturing of the game, bonus items, and first player coin are all complete. The factory is wrapping up the boxes of wooden deluxe tiles over the next week or so, then we're all set to leave the factory. The pledge manager will close the Friday after Origins, June 17th. There are still 10% of you who have not completed that. If you do not finalize your order, it may impact your ability to get your rewards. 

Retailer Pledge Backers: I will be emailing you right after Origins to finalize your order totals and collect payment. 

Tonight, I received a few advance cases of the production version of the game along with the some of the bonus items and coins for a final review before they get the pallets assembled. Everything turned out great! Here are a few pics and I'll be sure to send another update once I get the wooden tiles advance copy. 

Origins

If you are going to be at Origins next week, please stop by the booth (#216) and say hello. Gartenbau designer Dave Abelson is going to be in the booth each day doing demos of the game while we have the final days of the late pledges open for folks to jump in. We do have these advance cases available. To help cover some of the cost of the convention, I would like to sell them at the show, in addition to providing some copies to media covering the event which will help us later for retail release. There aren't many of them, but I normally don't make copies available before backers get theirs. If you would be upset if I proceeded with this, please let me know in the comments. If a lot of folks are opposed, we'll just do demos and late pledges only. 

Other 25th Century News

Over the past couple weeks, we had two new games release straight to retail: Prehistories and Sunny Day Sardines. These will both be at Origins, but you can order them right now from the 25th web store and receive free promo packs with each game.

Pre-Production: Deluxe wooden tile box art & pledge manager closing

Greetings, Gardeners!

As I mentioned in the last update, instead of just a blank white box for the deluxe tiles I was able to upgrade the deluxe wooden tile box to have its own art (this box will be in addition to the core game box if you added these to your pledge). I wanted to share what Matt Paquette put together for it. The back shows the wood slate, but here is the front which was made to look like a box of seed packets. 

Also, I received all of the wooden wheelbarrows from ShipShape, so those are all finished through production. Everything else with the manufacturer is still pending to be run down the line and I'll update when I get more details on when assembly will be wrapped. 

Pledge Manager Closing:

If you haven't completed your Backerkit pledge manager, do so soon. We are planning to shut down the pledge manager on Friday May 20th. I'll have another update reminding you of this and all credit cards will be charged at that time.
